Allies Enemies Organizations Mysteries

Marx

The enigmatic operator of Iron Haven station. Older woman with silver hair, glasses, a cybernetic jaw, and a cybernetic arm. Controls one of the most important independent stations in the outer systems through information, favors, logistics, and leverage rather than visible force. Constantly trades sarcastic banter with Malak while quietly helping the Ghostline more than she admits.

Roshe

Marx’s silent bodyguard and closest confidant. Always dressed in black with sunglasses and a katana. Rarely speaks, which somehow makes him more intimidating. Observes everything silently and unnerves almost everyone around him — especially Malak.

Captain Dorne

Former Federated Colonies pilot who carried out the destruction of Outpost K-17 after Malak refused the order. Represents absolute military obedience and the system Malak rejected. Later becomes commander of the task force hunting the Ghostline.

Amir

Aya’s former assassin “brother” figure from her old order. One of the only people capable of emotionally destabilizing her. Believes Aya betrayed their family and their mission. Calm, highly dangerous, and still emotionally attached to her despite hunting her. Serves as a living reminder of Aya’s past.

Commander Caelum Rhyse

Elite Sage Republic Strategic Pursuit Division commander. Calm, tactical, and extremely respected. Specialized in precision interception operations and minimizing unnecessary casualties. Sees Brakk as salvageable rather than irredeemable, which makes him more dangerous than openly cruel enemies.

Torren

Malak’s longtime smuggling contact on Draxos. Helped forge the Ghostline’s registry after Malak and Elias escaped the Federated Colonies facility. Cynical, street-smart, and used to dealing with criminals and desperate people. Loves mocking Malak’s ship name.

Leda Marr

A covert Sol Covenant operative introduced during the Ghostline’s early smuggling mission to Ornos. Operates through subtlety and intelligence gathering rather than overt authority. Calm, observant, and difficult to read. Represents the hidden infrastructure and information network of the Sol Covenant.

Vector

The mysterious leader — or possible codename — associated with the Sol Covenant. Almost nothing is publicly known about them. Rumored to coordinate hidden intelligence channels, scientific archives, refugee networks, and covert operations across the galaxy from an unknown location.

Shadow Step

The feared assassin identity formerly associated with Aya Miles. Across intelligence agencies and criminal syndicates, Shadow Step is considered more myth than person. Most believe the assassin is dead. Rumors that “the ghost is moving again” slowly begin spreading as Aya is forced back into combat situations.

The First

Ancient lost civilization tied to impossible technologies and fragmented historical myths. Their existence may connect directly to the Gamma Drive, Xenara’s experimental weapon research, and other violations of known physics. More looming mystery than active characters — for now.

The Leadership Circle

The unnamed ruling figures of Aya’s assassin order. They transformed children into weapons while pretending to oppose corruption and elite control. Eventually betrayed Aya after she questioned their methods and discovered the organization secretly sold assassinations to the powerful.

The Mining Colony Official

Corrupt Sage Republic official whose careless conversations in front of Rhea exposed the plan to eliminate Brakk. His arrogance indirectly caused Brakk’s defection and the Mercer siblings joining the Ghostline.

Elenor

Elias Rune’s spider-like infiltration drone used during the Xenara mission. Elias gave it the strangely elegant name “Elenor,” immediately exposing that despite pretending to be coldly logical, he absolutely personifies his machines emotionally. Destroyed during the mission, genuinely upsetting him.

The Sol Covenant

Not a traditional government but a decentralized humanitarian, scientific, and intelligence network spread quietly across many worlds. Operates through hidden chapters, covert safehouses, archives, and information channels rather than territorial control. One of the most mysterious powers in the setting.
